Software Releases

cPanel 11.32 released

In this version of cPanel & WHM, we've incorporated over 600 changes, including several requests from you.

Most significantly, we've incorporated DomainKeys Identified Mail (DKIM) validation for mail sent by cPanel & WHM servers, and new login pages that let you select your language.

New Features

Support for DKIM (DomainKeys Identified Mail)

DKIM allows you to associate a domain with an email message, verifying that the email comes from a reputable domain. cPanel & WHM has long provided DKIM validation for incoming mail. Now, with the addition of Exim 4.76, our software also includes DKIM checks for outgoing messages.

New login pages

We've changed both the cPanel login screen and the WHM login screen. When a user loads the login page, he or she can choose which locale (language) cPanel or WHM should use.

Notable Changes Include:

  • MyDNS — We've incorporated this database-backed name service into cPanel & WHM. It offers improved performance for servers with thousands of zones.
  • MySQL® 5.5 — cPanel & WHM now supports this version of MySQL.
  • IPv6 support in Apache distiller — If you've added IPv6 addresses to VirtualHost blocks manually, they will now be preserved in the Apache userdata.
  • Reduced memory overhead for cphulk, cpsrvd, and cpdavd when idle — To reduce memory use of these services, after a period of inactivity, cPanel & WHM replaces the service's daemon with a shim that listens on the socket.
  • Email delivery reports — cPanel & WHM now provides visual reports that offer system administrators detailed information on every email message that originates on the server and is processed by Exim.
  • Better management of files via the cPanel File Manager interface — cPanel integrates the ionice utility into its File Manager, to prevent users from unintentionally overloading the server by uploading or modifying large numbers of files at once.
  • Limiting the amount of email each domain can send — In the past, WHM has allowed server owners to limit the amount of email each domain can send per hour. You now have the option of limiting email based on how many messages from the sender have failed during the past hour.

NOTE: cPanel has changed the way we number our versions. For more information, please read our policy on versions and the release process.
